> I PRAY that an app dev or Google or SOMEBODY will write an app to REPLACE the LOUSY "contacts" function of the Android OS
Tranzz, funny you should post that today. The key feature of our "USB Sync for Outlook" App update last week was the introduction of a new Contact app to replace the Android "contacts" function. It is much faster, has better sort keys, and gives many functions common to old PDA phonebook applications like the use of Custom Fields and Categories.
You may want to check it out. Just download USB Sync for Outlook from the Android Marketplace. It's free, but to use it you'll want the PC-Side sync which runs $39.95 from CompanionLink.
