I have been working for a couple of days myself, trying all of the suggestions, installing and uninstalling drivers/kies etc., visiting support sites and forums. With fingers crossed I installed Windows Media Player 11 and rebooted. I plugged my phone in and voila! MTP Access!! This is the only place I've ever seen mention of this. It would be great if the word gets out so that others may not go through the headaches that we have.
