You can use it for your phone or tablet (future phones & tablet). It has 2 USB ports so you can charge 2 devices simultaneously. Its still a pretty portable device (about the same width & height as most phones but much thicker of course). Whereas if you buy extra batteries its only good for that 1 device or other devices that happen to use the same battery.
I got this on. A little cheaper, a bit smaller (8000maH) but has been workink fantastically for 3 weeks. There were a couple of bad/average reviews so almost didn't get it. Glad I did.
