I figure this will entertain more than just me...so this is going to be documenting my continuing conversation with LG about the locked bootloader on this phone...
first things first this is what i sent them
I have recently purchased this phone and in the tradition of Open Source I would like to ask that you release a Bootloader unlocker tool. It would be greatly appreciated.
and this was the automated reply I received today...

now..i do not know why the website admin would know how to solve my problem...but we shall see...
Our forums have a search button..
on the top right underneath your user name and all that info...there's a link that says "search this forum"...click it...a search field will popup...check ALL THE PAGES before posting a new thread for your question...
