I think Livesuite is the only way you can do it, backup is a good idea, although my flash went OK first time with no hiccups.
I've attached the PDF file instructions for flashing the Skypad Alpha 2, this is the method I used , and can only say it worked well for me. Good luck, and I'll be interested in your results. ... Jack.
