What I definitely can say will be a "1st" for me, and a welcome one at that, is assuming I do go with the Note 2, Samsung's strategy of keeping phone models the same across all carriers will open up Android supporters to sharing their experiences across the different providers! That'll be great to see and part of the reason the Note 2 is slightly ahead of the Optimus G, as an upgrade choice for me. That said, if LG takes the same approach with the Optimus G (e.g. Eclipse), then it'll pull back into an even race and test evaluation once the phones are out and available for comparison in person.
Love the G-Note series!
