So I was updating my wife's iPad last night to iOS 6 and it didn't have enough free space to do so (required 2.7GB). We had used it a couple of times to import some photos to show some people so there were a couple of hundred RAW+JPG pictures in the iPhoto library. So I went into iPhoto to delete them....easier said than done. Took 10 minutes to figure out how, or so I thought. What I had really done was "hide" the photos, but they were still on there. So then I hooked up to the computer to sync and get rid of them that way. No luck. After an hour of trying to figure this out, I had to Google how to do it. I found out you couldn't delete from iPhoto, you had to go into the stock Photo app to delete. Ok, I thought had tried that, but I'll do it again. It took me another 10 minutes to figure out where to access the delete function. So much for an intuitive operating system
