Lying is legal, perjury is not. Under penalty of perjury, Romney stated he was “sole stockholder, chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president.” Romney was also being paid AT LEAST $100,000.00 by Bain in 2002 as an executive, exclusive of investment income.
