First, thanks for these files and the guide. I've yet to find out if it's better, but I couldn't have done this with the (lack of) official help available from Samsung and the telcos.
Second, you might want to include a warning in that how-to post of yours, that
it deletes all data! Granted, I should have known, but even so I'm not even sure how to back this thing up. Luckily it seems my photos are still there, the rest I can just download again (groan).
