Also, everybody and their mama has an iPhone now so, IMO it doesn't have the former hype it once had. The Note 1 and 2 is a new breed of phone--except for those of us who grew up in the age of stylus and find them extremely useful. Personally, I'm glad for the comeback.
Think about it--the Note 2 can become the "it" phone.....ijs.....

I think it may still be too big for some. That's even one of my own reservations. The great thing is, Samsung has thought up ways for people to feel more comfortable with it by making the bluetooth spen, and other accessories to suit many peoples different needs.
We'll see how things progress, but i'm looking forward to how the oem's continue to innovate.
