Hopefully yes- but the Merger announcement just as Metro offers Motion 4G and the Galaxy S3 and the great 4G plans makes no sense to me for Metro expansion and may not be in the best interest of the Metro Brand and it's customers and Dealers and Employees since it raises doubts.
I like Metro and hope it grows and continues but wonder......

nothing is going to happen to metro's CDMA network until 2015. if you want the S3, go get it. by 2015 the galaxy S6 will be out and you wont be able to sell your S3 for more than $100 whether the merger happened or not. the only reason i've changed my mind in getting the S3 is because this merger means i might be able to get the s4 or the optimus G on metro through tmobile when the merger is final. their are small rumors that the optimus G was coming to metro regardless.
those who are locked in to their current plans will more than likely be grandfathered. the $55 promo is just that, a promo. while it is totally open ended i doubt they're gonna have this plan by the time this merger actually happens but who knows, they're still running the $25 dumbphone plan.
tmobile owns metro. a metro sale is a tmobile profit. it only benefits tmobile to keep metro's plans as attractive as they have been.
