Wifi, the difficult topic to troubleshoot. Not being in person, wifi is always hard to suggest fixes and solutions. (End of disclaimer.)
I can only think of three areas that it might be.
First, the Magic may not like the level of encryption. WPA2 / AES highest --> WEP lowest.
Second, the Magic may not like the pre-shared encryption string being used. IE, special characters or anything like !@#$%^&*().
Third, the Magic may not like amount of remembered Wifi networks.
Again, wifi is always difficult. It either works great, or is a major pain in the rear. Let us know what you find.
