I'm having issues as well connecting BT with my Galaxy S2 SGH-T989D and 2012 Honda CR-V Touring. Won't auto connect at all and just seems like the BT audio and media really appear to fight each other...my BT phone audio always ends up losing and gets disabled on handset which I then have to re-renable manually. Wish there was a way to disable BT media streaming all together on the NAV head unit as I don't use it at all just my USB flash drive for music.
Samsung really doesn't push updates OTA...I'd suggest downloading Samsung Kies and plug your phone in once a month or so to check for firmware updates. My carrier TELUS says Jellybean 4.1 update should be out sometime in December...hopefully BT issues will be fixed

I usually do not accept all the updates. Thanks!
