I spent about 3 hours on the replacement. I guess it depends on how much you value your time.
I enjoy the challenge of trying to do something I've never done before. Also since I am retired I had the time to do it.
Now that i have slept on it, I think I will be able to repair my bezel. The bezel is a combination of plastic and aluminum. When the tablet fell, a two inch piece of the plastic broke away from the aluminum. The plastic of the bezel snaps into the edges of the tablet which then holds the bezel in place. I think if I can glue that piece back on then the bezel will look (almost) as good as new.
