How child/honey/drop/chocolate/mouth proof is it? That would be my concern. £150 pounds is a lot of money for a childs device, and if it breaks (outside of a situation that would be covered by a warranty) there will be a lot of tears before bedtime.
A slower device thats cheaper to replace may be a better option. or something that is built to a child spec would be more rugged.
