Myself, never. Flip phones are absolutely annoying. And crappy. I would sooner have a smartphone and a tablet or a phablet on its own. I had a flip phone once. A Motorola Razr. You know, back when Razr was still a dumb phone, and not a smart phone. I hated it. I had a Blackberry Tour once. It is considered a smartphone. I hated it. I now have my Samsung Galaxy S II. I'm in my happy place. I'm eventually going to get the Nexus 10 as well. It may not be able to run some of my favorite PC apps (like Trimble SketchUp and Sibelius), but It would definitely be nice to have. So, no dumb phones/flip phones - tablet combo for me.
