I'd a set of Phillips SHE8805 designed specifically for Android. Sound quality was pretty good and the headset control worked flawlessly. They broke unfortunately

I'm currently using a set of Denon AH-C560R with a remote they were designed for the iPhone, but with the Jays Headset Control app, I've got as much control with the one button as I did with the previous earphones.

I agree though, with Android as popular as it is now, you'd expect a wider range of decent, working earphones.
