Ahhh yes, I too have the "black screen" problem myself on my Transform Ultra - since I can't see anything on mine I have to ask... How were you able to do any kind of restore if you had a black screen? My key pad lights up, I can hear the phone booting up and the light in the upper right hand corner shows but I have absolutely nothing on my screen. I have contacted Samsung a couple times so far & am now waiting for them to send me the address to where I can send it to. If you don't get your issue resolved I would recommend you contact Samsung because my phone was made in January of 2011 & they told me that if I were to have waited till after then this year I would be SOL.
