My intention was to swap some of the better components out of my current rig (GPU, HDD's and Sound Card mainly) then sell the surplus from both rigs to finance it.
When I get this one completed I will be able to sell my i7 2600k CPU, ASUS Maximus IV Extreme - Z mobo, Antec H20 920 Kuler and HAF 932 case so I will get some money back.
BTW it was kind of a good thing I didn't get the ebay rig as the motherboard is , I think, discontinued. My new mobo has some nice features, one being that you don't need a backplate to fit a cooler.
