Yeah, unfortunately Swype is an OEM exclusive right now, which means if it's not already installed on your phone you can't download it from GP. Wonder if that kind of agreement will ever change, or why Swype agreed to that. Either they know that guaranteed $ up front from a manufacturer is better than hopeful $ from a user, or they think they know. Who knows.
