Another reason that could equally be argued is that the majority of Android users prefer the 'hands-on' approach to shopping. Or to put it less kindly, perhaps they get out more.
Tbh I have great difficulty taking the above conclusion seriously. To call it "a stretch" is a massive understatement, imho.
