It was working fine up until about a month ago, when suddenly I couldn't open the gallery or take any more photos. Then I couldn't update Whatsapp and had to keep deleting messages, photos and apps just to make a bit of space. I finally realised it was to do with my SD card - my internal memory is full and there was feck all on the SD. However, when I tried to manage my apps, it wouldn't allow me to move anything over to the SD card. So I formatted the SD card, which somehow deleted everything. All my photos, which it said were on my internal storage. Anyway, I am thinking shall I just get a new SD card or is it a problem with my phone itself?? Could it be that the reader/port for the card isn't working properly? Not the most mobile-tech-savvy person, I would rather get some advice before buying a new card and it not solving anything.
Much appreciated
well i'm not too familiar with the wildfire, but i have owned htc phones for quite a while now. with that said.......
anytime you format your sd card, you will loose anything that is on it. and anytime you take pictures they will be stored in the dcim folder of your sd card.

after you formatted the card, how does it run now? it is possible that it could be your card.
