You could always spend a fortune and import the international version assuming it has GSM bands compatible with AT&T or T-Mobile. If a user did that, their S3 would already be on touchwiz based 4.1.2. International Unlocked are the ones that get it straight through the OEM. Or just get a GSM nexus and save yourself the pain.
