Well either way the interpretation was wrong. Or maybe they just wanted to scare everyone by saying the world would end
In my wife's work place the power in the whole village wen out a few minutes before the world was supposed to end, everyone was worried. Turns out someone switched off the power as a joke
She didn't find it too funny but I was in stitches
