Luckily the people I bought the phone from (Auroracell.com) are giving me superb customer service. They're dealing with Samsung for me (since Samsung USA doesn't have this phone listed anywhere on their site, that's a relief). I've only had the damn thing 2 weeks, and they'll agree to take it back if there isn't some Samsung repair outlet closer. It's got a 1-year warrantee, so things should be fine. I'll keep the thread posted.
