Don't think it'll harm your nex 4 since these chargers are meant for on the go charging. At least for the one I have it has made my phone battery worries disappear. I have a ravpower 10,000 mah one which can charge my phone many times before i need to recharge the battery charger again. Check out the reviews. Love this thing.
