Hello, all you tech junkies!
This is my first smartphone, so, this is also my first rooting attempt. I wasn't all that interested in rooting until I found out I could potentially boost my signal strength by doing so. Willing to take the "brick" risk for that.
I've gotten up to the point of where I have to push the su file with ADB....and, I just can't do it
According to the guides I've been following from a Google search, I shouldn't be having any problems.
I downloaded the files Willster posted earlier (very much appreciated) and I already had the drivers installed on my computer.
I open the command prompt in the same location that I have the adb and su, and attempt to "adb push su /sdcard/M130 root" to the directory that I've created on my SD card using ES File....but nothing happens
I've tried multiple combitnations of commands, but I just wasn't able to get it. I figured I'd come out of the forum's shadows and see if you kind souls would mind doing a bit more leg-work for me
...also, this smiley was just too funny not to use, considering it pretty much defines how I feel about my situation:
