Just follow and read carefully from the #1 Post.
You can't just unlock fastboot mode it's disabled by default ( Verizon ).
Everything was done from that stuck G'zOne boot screen and command prompt ( ADB ). You should have already downloaded GNM Recovery .img before doing that ( ver. 3.06 )

It's a simple "permission" and "ownership" case, but the solution's not that simple to solve.
If you simply can change permission and ownership,whatever method you've used then you're simply have root access. But back again that's the problem..
