Unfortunately, there isn't.

The tutorial says something to the effect of "you don't like 2.1, tough $%&#, you're stuck now."

It's a bit speedier. I've had 2 issues today - one, the dialer (which I never liked anyway) has gotten sluggish and even unresponsive a few times, and the browser completely crapped. It was just stuck on a site - no back, no stop, no refresh, no clicking a link - just had to reboot the phone. So the glitches are a minor (so far!) trade-off for the improvements. And it's so easy to do - I thought I had to have missed a step or something because it was so simple!

Of course, if the worst happens and they did notice, you could always play dumb..."WHHHAAATTT??? You're telling me that somehow there was an unofficia,l unreleased, buggy update that downloaded itself on my phone?!?! No WONDER it was acting up! How in the world could that have happened? Now I DEFINITELY want to return it!"
But I highly doubt they will.

LOL! I like your thinking!

The home screen looks pretty much the same; some of the icons are slightly different. Guess those are the ones I'll remove, huh?
