World hunger is more of an issue of regional underproductivity, and below subsistence farming. We are producing enough food for at least another 3 billion people. Reducing meat consumption will become more necessary though as socioenvironmental issues continue to fail to be adressed.
I have a real hard time with the phrase "income transfer" too..
that is just a rainbow unicorn way of saying ....forcing
