If I am coming from Windows 7 64-bit ultimate, which is the best version for me to go for?
to be honest i never use the tiles that comes with windows 8. i only use the desktop and that is it. windows 7 is a great os.........so it is up to you to make that decision.

but i will say this. if you are upgrading........then i would wait. get a pc that has it built in. my pc after upgrading has some small issues. it seems that not all the drivers work well. like i said a few posts ago, my keyboard acts funky sometimes and the track pad on my laptop is also acts weird as well. i bought a pc that came with 8 and it works flawlessly.
