I just recently got my N1, and the battery life seems pretty decent so far. I'm getting 18-20 hours and have about 20% left before I charge it. I'm only on 2G/wifi all day and monitor is on full brightness with 4 hrs of using the phone and the rest standby. I'm very please with the battery life so far...though I haven't really talked on the phone for more than a couple of minutes, so will try to see how long i can talk before the phone dies. But I did buy an extra battery just in case from all of the posts I've read saying how bad the battery was for them XD And I'm having a blast getting to know my precious N1, lol.

Edit 4/13/10
I retract what I said earlier...battery life is horrible for calling...I talked on the phone today for 95 minutes and that used up 38% of the battery on 3G (forgot to turn it off it seems)...so if I just use my phone to talk, I can only talk for 250 minutes or roughly 4.2hours...that is only 60% of the 7 hours that Google said we would expect from our phone. There goes my 7hr calling test i planned with a friend of mine to see if it'll last that long *sigh* well...it's a good thing that I bought an extra battery pack
