Let me first say that I am based in Europe....

I was looking at the Lenovo P770, but I see that the network does not support 800 MHz!
The specs say
Dual Sim, supports W+G / G+G
2G:GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
3G:WCDMA/HSPA: 900/2100MHz

Am I right in saying that this is as much use as a bucket of steam in a desert? Because all the countries across Europe were forced by European Legislation to switch off analogue television and use the 800MHz band for 4G from 2013 onwards.

The Commission is also considering a plan for harmonizing the 800 MHz band in the ultra-high frequency (UHF) range, which is particularly suitable for new generations of mobile broadband. The ITU World Radiocommunication Conference in 2007 (WRC-07) gave ITU Member States from Europe the option of opening up some of the UHF bands for sharing by mobile services, under certain conditions.
Switching to digital television

some details here and here.

So will there be a Lenovo dual sim phone that will work in Europe?
