The backwards compatibility issue isn't as large as the used games issue is. Most games I bought used because 60 dollars plus tax is just too much to spend as often as I'd like. Except for a select few, I would often wait to purchase a game. Now we just have to wait and see if this is true and if Microsoft is going to follow or be the difficult one.
