Well, my goal was to just get it out to the people who aren't able to obtain it on their own. It's a shame that people who purchase the phone through one carrier (or unlocked) can't get the updates that other carriers get in different parts of the world, especially when those updates fix such critical bugs. I would have been SOL with regards to these updates, being in the US, without this forum.
The truth is that anyone could have gotten this update if they had an older VIA firmware on their phones already. It's just easier if someone releases it so that the double-flashing and NPS nonsense isn't necessary. I don't need to take credit for anything, really.
Nonetheless, it may be beneficial to do what you suggest in the future just to keep people on this forum, since it's been such a great resource. I'll also won't use rapidshare again. ;-) (Thanks, guys, for reposting after the limit was reached!)
On another note, there's something people who are trying to flash a CSC/firmware that don't match (i.e., one that wasn't officially paired by Samsung) should know: you won't be able to use NPS to upgrade in the future. What NPS is looking for is a specific combination of CSC and firmware to provide an upgrade path. If you mix and match your own, it won't provide you with an upgrade. Of course, you could just use Odin to flash one of the older version and do the upgrade via NPS that way. (Or just get all your firmware upgrades on the forum.)
