Note 8.0 is the only reason I wouldn't jump on board right away (I'd also want them to work out any kinks with the first production models of flexible screens). Otherwise, I'd be lined up with you to pay the full price.

Looks like HTC has a potential to make a comeback, based on pre-orders. That said, I don't know how much their total sales will be initially, but I'm glad they aren't fading away:
