I tend to agree with you but on the other side of that, people generally just think they need as much space as possible without thinking what they will actually do with that amount of space. I hate keeping music and movies on my phone so the 32 GB is more than enough for me; I really only keep pictures, apps, and contacts on my phone with a few saved emails. Everything else is out in the cloud somewhere or hosted on my PC at home and then streamed via PlayOn.
