Hey rushmore, I thought you would like to see a few snippets from my chat with Verizon. Every once in awhile I like to check in with them to see what they are telling people out there:
David: Will you be selling the 32GB model of the Galaxy S4? I don't see it up for pre-order. I use many apps that require a lot of internal memory.
Kaitlyn: We only have the 16GB put you can install a 64GB memory card. Will that work for you?
David: Not really, like I said, I need more internal memory for apps.
Kaitlyn: 64GB card will act like the internal memory because it will hold a lot. I have the S3 I can install my music, pictures, and apps on my SD card. So all my apps are on my SD card.
Kaitlyn: Can you quote me an app that can not be saved to your SD card?
David: All of them.
Kaitlyn: Allow me to check my apps, and with a manager. Because all of mines are saved on my sd card right now.
Kaitlyn: According to my manager information, and my information (which I have the phone) you will be able to do what I am talking to you about.
David: Check again. You can put music and other media or any files you want on the microsd like a thumb drive but you can't installs apps on the microsd. If you have a few large games or use the Google Music app that caches music only on to the internal memory you could be in trouble.
Kaitlyn: If you would like assistance with transferring your files onto your sd card. We have classes for that as well.
Sigh--I like how she wanted me to go to a class about it! I sent her a couple links about the issue and told her to educate herself.
