I've seen no evidence to say my device is less stable with applications on my sdcard, I've not seen a single crash, all the apps work just fine.

Also I saved quite a bit of space moving apps to the the sdcard, just over 1GB. If you have allot of apps installed it adds up to quite allot, even if the app is small relative to the data in games that isn't the case the all apps on the market.
