Counter intuitive effort, though perhaps all they could do based on framework changes. Seems the sales issues have them scurrying for solutions to change the trend direction.
Give it a rest, the app-to-sd feature update is more likely in response to recent media attention over the issue.
It has nothing to do with sales, it's already their fastest selling phone and I don't think anyone but shareholders gives a crap about them falling short of targets.
