The Galaxy S4 doesn't get that hot while gaming, less so that my old Galaxy S3.

However all Snapdragon 600 devices suffer with what I think is aggressive thermal throttling during heavy apps, I don't think any of them can provide the max CPU speed consistently which is a shame.

Basically the advertised high clockspeeds are for marketing, would be interesting to know where clockspeeds settle on different devices after a long gaming session.
