I know this sounds crazy, but the absolute #1 thing I need is Internet sharing and tethering capability; even more so than a phone itself. I must be able to connect my phone to my laptop, either by usb or bluetooth, and have it working in less than 30 seconds each time. I currently run Ubuntu 9.4 and Windows Vista/XP. My windows mobile phone works with all of these, and quickly.

I have searched and searched but have found nothing as to wether the Sprint version is capable of thethering.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!
According to this PDF, http://insidesprintnow.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/hero_gsg.pdf , page 98 has this on mobile network sharing.

Your device’s data capabilities enable you to use its high-speed data connection as a modem for your laptop computer. You can send and receive email and browse the Internet anywhere on the Nationwide Sprint
Network.
However, I have to question how valid this part is, as I thought Sprint had stopped tethering awhile back, and you couldnt even purchase it as an add on feature. I guess we will find out soon enough.
