I reduce the sharpening by one notch.

Can't decide on saturation - by default it's a bit over-saturated, but one step down is slightly too far.

If shooting in low light, remember that you must hold it as still as possible to avoid camera shake (and hence blurring).

Others have had theirs longer, so hopefully you'll get other suggestions. The ultrapixel and more discussion thread will have some people's preferences in it too.
