that didn't use this guide but used the same method with another guide and they also had trouble with wifi. I think its the kernel that is flashed that was needed to root the T-Mobile MDL update.
You can try flashing a rom like Wicked
, that seemed to work for someone, or you can flash a different kernel like this Deviant kernel
. Its the same kernel in the Wicked rom so it should work.
I've checked but can't find the stock Metro firmware yet.
btw .. if you need to root again, I updated the guide to use CF-Auto-Root. It works for the Metro S4 also. Just select the file for the T-Mobile S4.
