The HD factor is just large pixel density to illuminate. Larger that Droids screen. As I said above, it's easy to fix by forcing black to be at 98%, which will cause all pixels to illuminate, just at very low opacity, making it impossible to notice, and low enough not to effect the battery.
It's a price of trying to archive true black color.
Also, as Hawker mention, it was supposed to fix with the update. Tho my one, haven't been done yet. I still see the ghosting, especially in UCCW setting mode or notification. Hopefully, will be included with the 4.3 updated, later this year.
