The best deal was "personal articles" policy thru my regular State Farm, but, they don't cover phones any more because too many morons were "accidentally" dropping their phone in the toilet, or out the car window, or whatever, whenever they wanted a new phone. The other insurance is too much a rip off, so, I take the attitude, that if I take good care of it, and have to replace a damaged or lost phone every 5 years or so out of pocket I'm probably still ahead of what I'd paid for insurance over all those years.

The last time I had a phone die, while still in contract was a flip phone, maybe 8 or 9 years ago, so, guess I'm not doing too bad.
