this is the proper way to recall a running app.

double tapping the home button opens up the apps that are in memory but those apps may or may not be running at the time. also the OS may shut them down or take those resources and reallocate them to another app that is requesting more resources that _IS_ currently running at the moment (such as cpu incentive GPS apps or streaming apps like youtube).
