Yes, I was pretty sure that they tested standby using the phone in its least possible usefulness as a smartphone.

I am thinking about disabling the "OK Google Now" touchless control because it's something I will rarely use anyway; the idea of talking to my phone like that just seems silly to me. However, I find active notifications to be too valuable to disable. It's one of the things I like best about the phone.
