For some reason my s4's brightness is calibrated way too high. The reason i know this is bc ive been testing out brightness controls on screen adjuster apps. When i turn the contrast or bightless to about 60% on the app and then use whatever brightness i want on the device, the bleed disappears completely... Figure that one out...

Sounds like there's some issues with that phone. If you're still under warranty Id return it, otherwise you're stuck with a lemon.
