My question is - do I need to update the normal firmware provided by Samsung when the next firmware is available and than re - install the omega rom built for that firmware when an update is available, or do you just continue to update the omega rom.
I always thought that a custom rom took the place of the stock firmware and therefore you just kept up with the latest release of that rom??? Is this correct
Please explain I am trying to learn and I am reading and watching a lot of clips but it is hard when you are starting out.
Personally, I wait for the firmware updates to be incorporated into whatever custom roms I want to use. I learned the hard way not to take updates directly from carrier or manufacturer. Sneaky sobs always seem to be looking to lock bootloader or some other mischief.
